Privacy Policy
Groundwater Analytical, Inc. ("Groundwater") recognizes that privacy is an
important issue, so we design and operate our website with the protection
of your privacy in mind. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal
information we gather when you use our website, as well as some of the
steps we take to safeguard it.
Data collection
Groundwater collects limited non-personally identifying information
your browser makes available whenever you visit a website. This log
information includes your Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser
language, the referring web page, the date and time of your query and one
or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser. We use this
information to operate, develop and improve our services.
Some of our services require you to register for an account.
Groundwater asks you for some personal information in order to create an
account (typically your name, email address and a password for your
account) and we will use that information to provide the service.
Tracking Technologies
Certain pages of our website require the use of cookies, or other
tracking technologies, to uniquely identify your browser. A "cookie"
is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your
computer when you visit a website. Cookie files, or other tracking
technologies, allow the website to recognize you as you click through
the pages on the site and when you later revisit the site. Most browsers
are initially set up to accept cookies. You can reset your browser to
refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However,
some of our website features or services may not function properly
without cookies.
Information sharing
We do not share your personally identifying information with other
companies or individuals.
We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable
information as required by law, and when we believe that disclosure
is necessary to protect our rights, and/or to comply with a judicial
proceeding, court order, or legal process served on Groundwater.
Communication from us
On occasion, we may send registered users a service-related
announcement. For instance, if our service features are changed or
updated, we might send you an email. You may not opt out of these
communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not
wish to receive them, you have the option of deactivating your account.
Information security
We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized
access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data.
Our security measures include the use of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
encryption to protect the transmission of information when you use our
secure web pages. We also use firewall software and physical security
measures to protect our computers and your data.
Users with website accounts share responsibility in protecting their
data. Please take care when using and storing your username and password.
Groundwater recommends that you do not divulge your password to anyone.
You should log out of your browser at the end of each computer session to
ensure that others cannot access your personal information and correspondence,
especially if several people have access to your personal computer or you
are using a computer in a public place like a library or Internet cafe.
Email that you send us, or we send you, is not necessarily secure against
interception. Please note that some of our website features involve
transmission of analytical data by email.
We restrict access to your personally identifying information to employees
who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve
our services.
Updating your information
Please contact our Client Services department if you need to update or correct your
personal information that is used for any of our services. You may contact our Client
Services department by calling 508-759-4441, or by emailing us at

Our website contains links to external websites not under the control of
Groundwater. This privacy policy does not apply to external websites. These

solicit personal information.
Changes to this Policy
Please note this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We expect most such
changes to be minor, but there could be changes that are more significant. We will
post those changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will also
