Groundwater Analytical, Inc. ("Groundwater") recognizes that privacy is an important issue, so we design and operate our website with the protection of your privacy in mind. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal information we gather when you use our website, as well as some of the steps we take to safeguard it.

Data collection

• Groundwater collects limited non-personally identifying information your browser makes available whenever you visit a website. This log information includes your Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the referring web page, the date and time of your query and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser. We use this information to operate, develop and improve our services.
• Some of our services require you to register for an account. Groundwater asks you for some personal information in order to create an account (typically your name, email address and a password for your account) and we will use that information to provide the service.

Our security measures include the use of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to protect the transmission of information when you use our secure web pages. We also use firewall software and physical security measures to protect our computers and your data.
• Users with website accounts share responsibility in protecting their data. Please take care when using and storing your username and password. Groundwater recommends that you do not divulge your password to anyone. • Email that you send us, or we send you, is not necessarily secure against interception. Please note that some of our website features involve transmission of analytical data by email.
